For over 20 years the Elk Grove Teen Center has provided the core developmental building blocks for our community's teens' mental, physical, social and spiritual well being. As our community and the needs of its people have grown, so has the enrollment at the Elk Grove Teen Center. The Elk Grove Teen Center is committed to providing programs for teens that will provide what teens need to succeed. Financial support from our community is critical to our success since we are funded by donations. We provide Support, Empowerment, Boundaries and High Expectation, Constructive Use of Time, Commitment to Learning, Positive Values, Self-Esteem and Character Building. We are all concerned with the time that our community’s young people spend outside of school. Come in and see how we can help. Today, schools release our teens to empty houses and neighborhoods. Many parents are not available to provide supervision and support during these vital hours at the end of the day because of work commitments. EGTC provides programs that reflect what’s missing . During their out-of-school time, teens seek out places where they can gather with friends and interact with adults on a relatively equal footing, gain recognition for their efforts and skills, and make choices about what they will do and how they will do it. We can provide that to our Elk Grove teens at our New Location at 8978 Elk Grove Blvd. Come in at see what’s new! |
